Lemon Rosemary & Garlic Salt


The captivating flavor of this blend begins with a generous dose of garlic followed by a zip of zingy citrus and finishes with the earthiness of rosemary.  A perfect companion to all meat, but especially chicken, as well as fish like salmon, cod and trout.  Use to season your favorite grains like wild rice, quinoa and buckwheat or any assortment of cooked vegetables.

Ingredients:  Unrefined sea salt, garlic, rosemary, lemon peel, onion, red bell pepper

Rosemary Chicken Kabobs

1/3 cup olive oil

2 Tbs. Lemon Rosemary Garlic Salt

1 Tbs. lemon juice

1 3/4 lbs. chicken tenders


 In a medium bowl, whisk olive oil, Lemon Rosemary Garlic Salt and lemon juice.  Let stand 10 minutes, place chicken in bowl, and stir to coat with marinade.  Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.

 Preheat grill to medium-high heat.  Thread chicken onto skewers and discard marinade.  Lightly oil the grill grates.  Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center, and the juices run clear.
