Cherry Almond Thumbprint Cookies

1 cup butter, softened

2/3 cup white sugar

1/2 tsp almond extract

2 cups flour

1/2 cup Seaquist Orchards Cherry Almond Jam

1/2 cup powdered sugar

3/4 tsp almond extract

1 tsp milk

Directions:

Preheat over to 350. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and white sugar until smooth. Mix in 1/2 tsp almond extract. Mix in flour until dough comes together. Roll dough until 1 1/2 inch balls and place on un-greased cookie sheets. Make small hole in each using your thumb and finger and fill the hole with jam. Bake for 14-18 minutes or until browned. In a medium bowl mix together powdered sugar, extract and milk until smooth, lightly drizzle over warm cookies.
