This was the best find! We were doing other things in the cities and saw this place and had to stop. It’s a huge multilevel store and they have everything! Very neat, unique gifts. Gadgets, clothing, food, candy-- everything you didn't know you needed!

What a fabulous find!! Heard raves about the popovers, yes, they are that good (and big)! Trio of salads was fresh and tasty. Big desserts, great service! Save time to shop, two floors of quirky gifts, Minnesota specialties, clothing, retro games, and back-in-the-day candy! 🤩

What a gem! The store is amazing! I'm difficulty shopping for my kids but when I go there, I always find something that they'll love! Employees are very helpful they're so many things to look at. If you're shopping for a gift, you're not going to come away from the General Store disappointed.

Beautiful store, I loved it! So many amazing things, for the house, clothes, souvenirs, jewelry, food, toys, decorations, funny, etc. If you want a really nice gift, or just something special, there are so many options. I recommend it.

The store that has everything from kitchenware, jewelry, MN souvenirs and clothing to kids toys, games and lots of puzzles! You could basically shop till you drop and then take a break in the Café, which by the way makes delicious salads, sandwiches, soups, desserts and coffee. And the biggest popovers I've ever seen! And then go back for more shopping!

Always a fun adventure exploring all the different spaces in this two-story gifts and home goods store. Rustic look, shopping made to feel like you've discovered an item instead of shopping off a rack this place does not disappoint.

Such a wonderful store. Old-time, small-town charm in a busy suburb. Impressive collection of one-of-a-kind gifts and treats. Almost too much to see in just one visit. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Don't forget to look upstairs as well! If you have someone in your gift list that is impossible to shop for, this is the place to go. If you can't find them something here, you might as well give up and just gift them a hug!

This is a truly unique shopping experience! They have curated a unique blend of special items, and I love that many of them are locally sourced. The cafe is also nice, good coffee and espresso drinks, the bakery items look incredible. I will be visiting once again!!

I've been going to the General Store since I was 10. It was a treat for my grandparents and I to go every time I visited them. Now I live in Florida, so every time I get back "home", the General Store is my must stop! It exudes so many childhood memories for me and to see its growth over the years has been really heartwarming. Can't wait to go in a few weeks! Their Minnesota selection of goods is AMAZING!

Both my wife and I love this store. We have been going to shop at this store for over 30 years and never walk out empty handed.

Love this place. You never know what you will find. There is always excellent holiday/seasonal items selection. Great clothing and jewelry, Minnesota themed food and gifts and a terrific section of kitchen goods and a whole lot more. Plan at least an hour. Don't forget to grab lunch in the Cafe.

I love this store. I have made lots of memories shopping at the General Store with my mom, and now my daughter. I want to buy everything. Love the atmosphere.

Always love our trips here! Fun unique gifts and boutique decor. A lot of fun stuff for the desk and office as well. Always worth the stop even if you need to go a little out of your way.
